Short programmes

Study at DSTI for a season, a certification or a term.

Three formats for people who want DSTI teaching for a defined period: a one- or two-week bootcamp for secondary-school students, a micro-credential leading to an external certification, or an exchange or study-abroad term.

01 — Formats

Three formats, three different audiences.

The formats share DSTI’s teaching and campuses, but they answer different questions. Choose by who you are and what you need at the end.

Secondary-school students, 15–17

Winter & Summer Bootcamps

A programme created by DSTI and Centre International d’Antibes: an introduction to software engineering, machine learning and AI, robotics and cyber security, in English at the Sophia Antipolis campus, with a supervised stay run by CIA and social activities shared with its international language students.

Micro-credentials

A fixed package of DSTI MSc courses in one domain (data science & AI, data engineering, data analytics and cyber security) that prepares for an external certification exam. DSTI covers the exam fee once; 15 ECTS are awarded once the DSTI course exams and the certification exam are passed. On campus, Live Streamed or Online asynchronous.

Exchange & Study Abroad

One or two terms on campus, taking courses from the BSc or the MSc programmes in English. Validated courses appear on a European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System transcript.

How it works
02 — Relation to degrees

Shorter formats, linked to the degrees.

Micro-credentials and exchange terms use the same courses, teachers and assessment as DSTI’s degrees, and they document what you have learned; bootcamps give secondary-school students a first experience of the subjects. Admission to a degree then follows each programme’s own criteria.

Bootcamps

A first look at the field.

Bootcamps give secondary-school students a concrete view of the subjects taught in the BSc Computer Science & Engineering.

Micro-credentials

15 ECTS on your official transcript.

Awarded once the DSTI course exams and one external certification exam are passed. The credits may support a later application for recognition of prior learning; admission to a BSc or MSc remains subject to its own criteria.

Exchange & Study Abroad

ECTS credits on your official transcript.

Each course acquired is recorded with its ECTS credits. Your home institution decides how it recognises them, and the learning agreement prepares that recognition.

03 — Dates & fees

Next sessions and what they cost.

Fees include teaching and assessment. Bootcamp fees are all-inclusive (accommodation, meals, activities, weekend transfers and supervision); micro-credential fees include one certification exam attempt.
