A practical start to living in France.

Accommodation is part of the study project. DSTI helps students prepare early, compare recognised housing tools and understand the everyday budget of studying in Paris or on the French Riviera.

03 — Studapart

Open-market housing, with a stronger rental file.

Studapart is the more open-market route: students can look for individual apartments, studios, shared accommodation, coliving or other housing options through the DSTI Studapart platform.

For students who do not have a French guarantor, Studapart’s Guaranteed Profile can help strengthen the rental file on eligible listings in France. It verifies the file, adds a badge for landlords and can include guarantor coverage handled directly by Studapart.

Search more widelyStudios, apartments, flatshares, coliving and other housing types can be explored through the platform.
Build a trusted fileDocuments can be verified and presented through a clearer tenant profile.
Guarantor supportThe Guaranteed Profile is designed for tenants renting in France, including international students without a family guarantor.
Check current termsEligibility, pricing and coverage conditions are set by Studapart and should be reviewed directly on their platform.
04 — Monthly budgets

Plan the whole month, not only the rent.

Accommodation is usually the main cost, but transport, food, insurance, telephone, daily routines and leisure should be considered together.

05 — Daily life

A good arrival becomes a working routine.

Once the accommodation route is clear, the next practical questions are simple: how to commute, how to budget, where to study, how to handle administration and how to keep daily life manageable while the academic rhythm starts.

06 — Support partners

Support before and after arrival.

Studéa Nexity, Studapart and FeelFrançais each cover a different part of the arrival journey: packaged residences, wider rental search and administrative support.

FeelFrançais supports admitted students with practical steps around relocation, including visa preparation, accommodation, bank account, home insurance, CVEC, transport card and French health insurance.

Next step

Prepare the practical side early.

Accommodation, visa timing and arrival routines are easier when they are prepared together. DSTI Admissions and support partners help students understand what to do, when to do it and which platform to use.
