02 — DSTI × Centre International d’Antibes

Two schools based in France, built for the world.

The bootcamp brings together two schools with the same idea of education: rooted in France, open to students from everywhere. DSTI brings the technology teaching; Centre International d’Antibes, one of France’s largest and most international schools of French as a foreign language, brings the stay and the international community around it.

03 — Workshops at DSTI

Learn how the technology works, in a real technology park.

The workshops take place at DSTI’s campus in Sophia Antipolis, about 20 minutes from Antibes. They are interactive and adapted to 15–17-year-olds: the aim is to understand how things work and to solve problems, at the right level for secondary-school students.

  • “Sophia” is Greek for wisdom, and “Antipolis” is the ancient Greek name of Antibes.
  • Two-thirds of the park is kept as forest: labs and offices among the pine trees.
  • The standards behind mobile phone networks are written here, at ETSI.
  • Orange, Thales, SAP, Arm and IBM work here side by side, in English.
04 — Beyond the workshops

Make friends from around the world.

The bootcamp is 100% taught in English. Outside the workshops, bootcamp students take part in social activities with the language students of Centre International d’Antibes, young people who come to the Riviera from many countries to learn French. It is a chance to compare cultures, hear other languages and start an international network early.

05 — Where you stay

Castel Arabel, between Antibes and Juan-les-Pins.

Students live at Castel Arabel, the residence Centre International d’Antibes has owned since 1995, in a quiet area 10 minutes’ walk from the beaches and the centre of Juan-les-Pins. Rooms are shared by 2–4 students, each with a private bathroom; single rooms are available on request. Dinner is served at the residence. The same residence for the winter and summer sessions.

06 — Each week

Cannes, Grasse or Èze, and afternoons to let off steam.

In the Winter 2027 session, each week includes one half-day cultural visit and two half-days of activities with an external provider: an adventure park, an immersive virtual-reality game, a trampoline park, or laser tag and paintball. Evenings bring quizzes, games, a barbecue night and shows. The programme may change with the weather. In the summer session, activities are nautical (below).

07 — Winter session: a day in the Alps

From the beach to the snow in an hour.

In the winter session, students spend one full day a week in the Southern Alps with a traditional lunch. Activities depend on the weather and the snow: alpine skiing, sledding or snowshoe hiking.

Sea and snow in the same week.

The French Riviera in winter offers both: mild coastal weather and ski resorts within reach. It is one of the few places where a technology workshop, a beach walk and a ski run can happen within days of each other.
