One cohort On-campus and remote students follow the same class. Same standards Same exams, projects, recordings and academic support. What this means One academic room, several locations. In the room Students attend on campus in Paris or the French Riviera / Sophia-Antipolis. On screen Live Streamed students join the same session, timetable and classroom interaction. After class Recordings, DSTI Learn and Direction of Studies support help students keep pace. 01 — What Live Streamed means ## Not “programmes online”. DSTI, live. The key point is simple: Live Streamed is a study mode. It does not create a smaller, separate or weaker version of DSTI. The central promise ### Same academic route, same class experience. Whether you are physically present on campus or joining remotely, you are part of the same cohort and academic delivery. DSTI’s hybrid model was designed around this principle from the beginning. Same teachers You follow the scheduled class with the professor, not a pre-recorded substitute. Same cohort You learn alongside on-campus and remote classmates, with shared discussions and projects. Same assessment Assignments, exams and academic requirements remain aligned with the programme. Same support Direction of Studies, faculty, recordings, LMS access and student follow-up are part of the model. 02 — Who it is for ## For students who want DSTI, but cannot always be on campus. This mode is for distance, timing and life constraints — not for lowering the academic level. You live outside France You can start or continue a DSTI programme from your country while joining a real French higher-education classroom live. You live in France, away from our campuses You may be based far from Paris or Sophia-Antipolis and still want access to DSTI’s specialist programmes. You need flexibility, but still need structure You follow a timetable, attend live classes and remain visible to professors and classmates. Plain English first ### International access, without losing the classroom. Some institutions would call part of this transnational education . For students, the clearer point is this: you can study with DSTI from another location while remaining part of the live class. That is what matters. 03 — How it works ## Attend live. Ask questions. Work with the class. The model is built around participation, not passive consumption. 1 Before class You access the timetable, course space, preparation material and links through DSTI Learn. 2 During class You join live, follow the board and classroom feeds, speak, ask questions and work with peers. 3 After class You use recordings, transcripts, shared materials and assignments to consolidate the session. 4 Across the programme You remain accountable to the same rhythm, academic standards and professional expectations. 04 — Classroom technology ## A classroom designed for hybrid education, not patched for it. HD classroom capture Camera feeds show the professor, the board and the classroom context. Microphones for interaction Remote students hear classroom discussion, not only the lecturer. Touch boards and shared content Technical explanations, diagrams and workflows remain visible and reusable. Recordings and transcripts Sessions are recorded so students can review the class after attending live. DSTI Learn Course spaces, assessments, resources and recordings are centralised in the LMS. Remote assistance For technical courses, interaction can include practical support on student environments. 05 — Programme access ## DSTI has been built this way since 2015. The important distinction is not “which programme is live streamed?”. DSTI’s teaching model connects campuses and remote learners by design. The right question is: “which DSTI route matches my level and goals?”. Professional experience remains central to DSTI’s model. The route is adapted to the student’s situation, location and programme requirements. Primary route ### Do your internship in your country, or wherever it makes professional sense. DSTI can support professional experience in France or abroad, subject to academic validation and programme rules. The work must remain relevant, supervised and connected to the learning outcomes. Live Streamed students need a reliable environment. Computer Recent laptop or desktop suited to technical coursework. Memory 16GB RAM is strongly recommended for software, datasets and practical work. SSD storage Generous SSD storage helps you install tools and keep working comfortably. Displays Two screens are useful; three can be ideal for video, shared content and work. Camera A clear webcam helps you remain visible in the live class environment. Sound Comfortable headset or earbuds matter because live participation depends on audio. Internet Stable broadband with enough upload quality for real participation. Backup connection Mobile tethering or another fallback connection is highly recommended.
