# Accessibility Statement

Canonical HTML: https://dsti.school/accessibility-statement

This Markdown copy is generated from the same DSTI static-site build as the canonical HTML page. It is intended for machine readability and concise retrieval.

Accessibility

DSTI School of Engineering (Data ScienceTech Institute) is committed to improving the accessibility of [https://dsti.school](https://dsti.school) so that as many people as possible can access information about the school, its programmes, services and admissions processes.

## Scope of this statement

This statement applies to the public DSTI School of Engineering website available at [https://dsti.school](https://dsti.school). It does not automatically cover third-party platforms, embedded services or external websites linked from DSTI pages.

## Standards and approach

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), with Level AA as a practical reference point, and to improve compatibility with assistive technologies through clearer structure, semantic markup, readable contrast, keyboard-friendly navigation and meaningful text alternatives where applicable.

## Current status

The website has been rebuilt with accessibility in mind, but a complete third-party accessibility audit has not yet been finalised for every page, document, video and embedded component. For that reason, DSTI does not claim full conformance at this stage.

Some content may still require improvement, especially older documents, videos, third-party embeds, complex visual components or legacy content integrated from previous versions of the website. We are working progressively to identify and correct these issues.

## Known areas of attention

- Alternative text and accessible names for images, videos and interactive elements.

- Keyboard navigation and focus behaviour across complex page components.

- Colour contrast, text resizing and responsive behaviour on small screens.

- Accessibility of embedded third-party forms, video players and document viewers.

- Downloadable documents that may not yet be fully accessible.

## Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the DSTI website, please contact us so that we can review it and work on a solution.

- Email: [contact@dsti.school](mailto:contact@dsti.school)

Please include the page URL, a short description of the issue, the device/browser used and, where relevant, the assistive technology involved. We aim to respond within 3 to 5 business days.
